Job Description:

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and hardworking backpackers on working holiday maker visas to join our family dairy at Little Big Dairy Co in Dubbo. This is an excellent opportunity for adventurous individuals or couples looking to gain hands-on experience in dairy farming while enjoying the serene beauty of the Australian countryside.

Responsibilities:

Assisting with daily dairy farm operations, including milking and feeding of cows.
Operating and maintaining farm equipment, with tractor driving experience being preferable.
General farm maintenance and upkeep.
Ensuring the health and well-being of our dairy herd.
Collaborating with the farm team to maintain high standards of animal welfare and hygiene.
Qualifications:

Enthusiasm and a strong work ethic are essential.
Prior milking experience is a bonus but not required.
Tractor driving experience is highly preferable.
Must have a valid working holiday maker visa.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work weekends and early mornings when necessary.
Physically fit and able to handle the demands of farm work.
Accommodation:

On-farm accommodation is available at times at a rate of $230 per week. The accommodation includes comfortable living quarters and basic amenities, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in the farm lifestyle. Additionally, there is free WiFi on the farm, ensuring you stay connected.
