Mitchelton Estate is a spectacular winery and tourism destination located on the banks of the Goulburn River in Nagambie. The Mitchelton property comprises: Mitchelton Estate, The Mitchelton Hotel, The Day Spa at Mitchelton, Mitchelton Winery, Muse Restaurant and The Provedore.

The Positions:

We are looking for a number of dynamic and driven Chefs and kitchen Hands. Focused on local, sustainable, ethical produce and practices and delivering the best for the customer, the successful candidate will have aligning food and service values to those in the greater Mitchelton team.

Qualified - Chef

Minimum 2-3 years’ experience
Section management
Section ordering
Preparation and cooking duties relevant to the section they will be working on
Will have the ability to write, plan and work to preparation schedules
Clear communication skills
Work within a team and at times work unsupervised
A la carte and functions work
High volume venue

Kitchen Hand

Basic Food preperation
Cleaning and dishwashing
Complaince with health and safety regulations
The right candidate will have:

Recent and relevant experience in a similar role
Australian legal working rights or working holiday visa
Dedication to providing the highest level of guest service
Ability to work flexible hours, across weekdays, weekends and public holidays
Exceptiona attention to detail
Highly developed communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
