Cook / Gardener - Dungowan Station (northern Territory)

We are Consolidated Pastoral Company (CPC) an Australian based beef producer which owns and operates a portfolio of cattle stations across Northern Australia.

Kitchen
• Prepare, cook and serve healthy, nutritious and balanced meals
• Cater for twelve people (sometimes more)
• A strong focus on food safety standards and food handling.
• Maintain a clean and structured, fully equipped kitchen
• Coordinate the ordering of the dry stores (groceries), fruit and vegetables and maintain adequate supplies to ensure variety within budget, using seasonal produce

Garden
• Mowing lawn areas with ride on mower
• Watering of lawns and plants
• Carry out other duties around the station as required

What you will need
• Genuine interest in working and living on a remote cattle station
• Passion for food and cooking and experience as a chef, cook, kitchen hand or similar
• Ability to work outdoors in the garden – mowing, watering
