Hotel & Bar Assistant Manager - Live In Position

Our hotel sits at the base of Mt. Kosciuszko in the village of Thredbo - an all year round resort offering mountain biking and hiking in the summer months, and snow sports during the winter.

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to come in and join the team. The role will involve working alongside the General Manager to assist in the running of the hotel and bar. This is a hands on role that will be best suited to someone who is proactive and happy to get stuck in across the different areas of the business including serving breakfast daily to guests, reception roles including check in and out of guests, room allocation and housekeeping/general hotel cleanliness, and on-site laundry, bar work and kitchen help when the on-site bar is open.

The role is initially for the summer season, running through to the end of April, with the opportunity to continue within the company at one of our venues into the Australian snow season.

We are looking for someone who has experience working in hotels and/or bars ideally in a supervisor position or above, but full training will be provided to the right candidate.
