Maintenance Person (do Not Apply If You Have No Relevant Experience)

Mom Darwin YHA is a bustling 400-bed party hostel and bar located in a vibrant environment. We pride ourselves on providing a dynamic and lively atmosphere for travelers from all around the world. As we strive to maintain our hostel to the highest standards, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Man to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance tasks throughout the hostel, including but not limited to:
Repairing blocked pipes and taps
Changing box air conditioners
Patching holes in walls
Fixing bunk beds
Handling various random maintenance jobs as needed
Ensure timely completion of all maintenance tasks to uphold the safety and comfort of our guests.
Collaborate with other staff members to address maintenance issues efficiently.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
Trade certification is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work five days a week and occasional weekends as required.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
