We are excited to welcome like-minded working Holiday Visa holders to volunteer on our permaculture property in return for accruing hours for visa extensions.
We have 146 acres of protected coastal wetland in the Clarence Valley that was affected by the 2019 fires. As a result we are in the bushfire Recovery Zone and able to take volunteers to help in both bush regeneration and general farm management.
We have a two comfortable furnished bedrooms in the house plus a cosy furnished Belle tent available with access to camp kitchen, hot outdoor shower and composting toilet. during your stay we provide organic vegan dinner and volunteers bring their own breakfast and lunch. You are able to stay in a a WOOFING capacity meaning you exchange 4 hours per day for room and board and are able to accrue these hours towards your visa.
We ask for a minimum of one month stay subject to a 7 day preliminary visit to make sure it is a good fit for all.
We are a vegan, non drinking /smoking & substance free home with yoga and mindfulness principles. We are establishing a permaculture education centre and market garden and welcome any volunteers eager to learn more about this way of living.
