Job Description
Duties include:
- Assist station cook with meal preparation as directed
- Cleaning of station kitchen facilities as directed
- Assist with stocking kitchen store and coolroom/freezer
- Daily cleanup after meals
- Ensure adequate supply of food in staff fridge and restock
- Relief cook duties on a fortnightly basis (4 x days)
Drivers licence required for operating on farm vehicles from time to time
No car is required, though this would be highly advantageous for exploring more of the incredible landscape.
We can help to arrange pick up from Darwin, Adelaide River or Katherine with notice.
This position is available from Feb 2024.
A minimum 3-month commitment if required, however, the position is available until the end of November 2024 if it's a good fit.
Private room with shared bathroom facitlies included at no cost
All meals provided
Commencing daily rate of pay $175 per day
The day rate will be reviewed at 3 months.
Work is typically Monday-Friday, with some additional weekend shifts available.
Excellent station amenities, with a swimming pool, world-class equestrian centre, social club, and opportunities for fishing, camping etc on the property.
Close proximity to national parks.
