This position plays a significant role in catering for our many dining areas and providing our guests with the fuel they need for a day of adventure. From bistros to fine dining restaurants, you will be responsible for collaborating, preparing, and delivering dishes that meet the highest quality standards.

In a typical day in this role, you might:

Supervise cooking and other kitchen personnel, coordinate assignments to ensure economical and timely food production.
Familiarise newly hired staff with work practices of the kitchen, transport and storage.
Report to Head Chef or Manager on any critical instances which may affect the quality control.
At all times, assist in achieving corporate objectives, budgeted revenue and profit targets whilst meeting guest expectation in the quality of goods and services.
To be considered for this role, you should have:

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
Food Safety Certificate
Previous work in a commercial kitchen
Knowledge and understanding of the Food Act and the ramifications to the business for non-compliance

Employment start dates will vary depending on the role and snow conditions, but most roles start in June and finish in late September.
