Cook & All-rounder Couples Position Wanted - Start 1st June, 88 Day Visa Sign Off

We are currently looking for the right couple to join our team here at the Oasis Motor Inn, Blackall.

About the role:
We are looking for one person to be a cook in our café and restaurant. This person will be comfortable prepping food and assist our head chef in cooking a wide variety of dishes from our breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu. The second position is for an all-rounder, this role will require you to be flexible working in different areas such as housekeeping, food and beverage attendant, and kitchen hand. While we can guarantee a minimum of 30 hours of work per week for your visa requirements, we are coming into a busy tourist season and expect we will have more hours to offer, however, this is dependent upon business requirements. All our staff are paid under the Hospitality Industry General Award. You will be paid as follows:

• Monday - Friday (incl. casual loading): $30.10/hour
• Saturdays: $36.12/hour
• Sundays: $42.14/hour
• Public Holidays: $60.20/hour

Accommodation & Meals:
We offer our staff accommodation for $115 per week which will be taken directly out of your weekly paycheck. This will be shared accommodation with work colleagues so offers a great opportunity to meet new people. All staff meals are discounted at 50%.

About Blackall:
Blackall is a gorgeous little town in regional Australia situated 11 hours inland from Brisbane. It is a home from home where everyone you meet will gladly greet you with a smile. We are in the middle of the desert so prepare for warm, sunny days and some cooler mornings. We have a local IGA and Spar where you can do groceries, a pub and a 24hr gym. Occasionally, we will have the Blackall races or a Mighty Magpies game which is always great fun.

Getting Here:
Quantas flights operate from Brisbane every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday but you can also catch the Greyhound bus or drive here via your own means of transport.
