Labourer (maintenance)

• Full time hours – casual rate $28.26 + overtime
• Start – immediately
• Rent $60.00 + utilities per week
• All uniforms/boots/PPE supplied & laundered on site
• Minimum 38hr/week + Rostered weekends
• In-House Training
• Multiple positions available

Location: Toolleen, Victoria

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, duties include:
• Assisting and performing general fitting, welding, fabricating, machining and equipment maintenance/installation
• Undertaking a pro-active role in fault finding and preventative maintenance
• Maintaining a high-quality environment for the welfare and well-being of stock
• Assisting tradesmen and contractors when necessary
• Carrying out specified methods, controlled procedures and operational infrastructure
• Upholding a strong work ethic

As a key member of this team, the successful applicant must:
• Have a basic knowledge of tool skills
• Be committed to upholding the highest levels of animal welfare and bio-security standards
• Sound communication and effective time management skills
• Must had a current driver's licence and vehicle (due to location)
• A preparedness to work flexible hours (including some weekends and public holidays)
• Be physically fit and able to cope with the physical demands of the role, including working with animals and manual handling tasks including lifting
• Have a positive attitude towards the intrinsic values of trust, integrity, agility, quality, innovation and unity
