Au Pair / Demi Pair Required - Asap Start Date

If so, we would love to chat to you about becoming our next Demi Pair.

We are a young family (2 girls 3 yrs and 17 months old) looking for an Au Pair or Demi Pair to join us for 4 months or longer.

We are located on a small property in the Northern Rivers of NSW, 20 mins to Ballina and 30 mins to Byron Bay.

I am looking for help for the girls 5 days per week. 2 week days free to pursue other paid work or to visit the beautiful Northern Rivers. I would like the Demi Pair to care for and entertain the girls whilst I am working, attending appointments or running errands. I am also a Birth Photographer and Doula which takes me away from the house at different hours. You must be flexible and willing to work around this. In return, I offer flexibility in hours and times. The position is pretty relaxed however I would like somebody who is a self starter with a genuine love of children, creative play and arts and crafts.

A typical day may involve getting the girls ready, preparing breakfast, caring for one or both (eldest is at pre-school 2 days per week), playing in and outdoors. Some light housework, cooking and washing is required. We love good food and are searching for someone who also enjoys cooking and eating nice wholesome healthy food to join our little family.

Accommodation is in a caravan on the property with Wi-fi and the occasional use of a car to go out and about and shopping. In exchange for your assistance I am offering board, lodgings and a weekly pocket money of $200 (TFN or ABN required for additional paid work) A drivers licence with a clean history is a must.

Additional paid cleaning work available outside of hours or on your days off is available.

If you are wishing to improve your conversational English, I am also more than happy to assist as I was an ESL teacher in Japan and absolutely loved it.

We enjoy the outdoors, visiting the beach on sunny days, going paddle boarding and regularly bushwalking in the many beautiful national parks the area has to offer.
