Kindergarten Teacher Or Assistant Needed

We require an experienced Kindergarten Teacher or Certificate 3/ Diploma Early Childcare Assistant help to nurture and develop the knowledge, abilities, and social skills of children from three to five years old and to help to prepare them for primary school education at Glen Waverley.

Typical responsibilities of the job include:

- developing and implementing lessons and work schemes, using the Early Year Framework
- providing a safe and stimulating environment that facilitates learning
organising and supervising play and work activities (for example reading, cooking, music, dancing etc)
- liaising with parents, carers and professionals such as speech therapists and health visitors
- maintaining records
- monitoring and recording progress
- Early years teaching requires an enthusiastic, imaginative and energetic individual capable of gaining the full potential from each child.

To be successful for these positions you must possess:

- Qualified with a Certificate III or Diploma in Childcare
- Demonstrated skills to engage with children and maintain quality interactions
- Experience in working with children in individual and group situations.
- Working With Childrens Check
