Commercial Cook/Chef Position Available

Snow Goose Hotel, Adaminaby, is looking for a hospitality professional to join the team! Based in the kitchen, you'll be preparing, cooking and creating delicious hearty meals for our clientele. We're a small team, so we all pitch in where required, and you may be required to participate in bar duties on occasion.

Some of the main duties are:
• Preparing and cooking delicious meals
• Stock take and weekly ordering
• Following set standards for portion sizes, presentation etc
• Participating in developing the menu in collaboration with others on the team
• Following all set processes and SOPs in the kitchen
• Customer Service
• Maintaining and Cleaning Kitchen and at times Bistro area

The successful applicant will:
• Be a confident cook with experience cooking in a commercial environment
• Genuinely enjoy hospitality and providing a great experience for customers
• Be organised and systematic in your approach
• Maintain an organised workspace
• Provide warm and engaging customer service
• Work well in a team and contribute to a positive team culture
• Have a positive can-do attitude and be willing to pitch in wherever
• Be reliable and punctual
• Present well at all times
• Be on a rotating fortnightly roster allowing for personal time and every second weekend off.
