Dairy Farm Hand - King Island

If you have dairy skills, want to work on a large Australian dairy farm and visit one of those bits of Australia few backpackers get to, then this is your chance.

We're recruiting for several dairy farm hand positions to start immediately.

You'd have to get yourself to King Island, but that's an easy plane hop from Melbourne, then you'll be collected from the airport and delivered to your on-farm accommodation.
We are looking for people that can both milk in the dairy but also assist with collecting calves, feeding and general duties.

The dairies are rotaries, milking 750 on one farm, 1000 on the other. Although paid at the casual rate, all the jobs are full-time equivalent, so will qualify for 2nd year visa after 3 months work.

Accommodation on farm will be $100/week. Full furnished shared accommodation.
Employment is casual at $24.69/Hour as per the Pastoral Award.
Expected duration around 2 months
