Au Pair/ Home Help

Live in Au Pair position in farming community. We’re a single parent outfit in West Wyalong, NSW. Our team includes 6yo Jasper, 8yo Hannah and dad Lincoln. We live in a renovated 120 year old hotel in the main street of town. We are together week on week off changing on Wednesdays. I am a GP working in Forbes and commute each day when the children and I are together. The rest of the time I work late and often stay in Forbes overnight. Au Pair has own room, bathroom, a/c, Netflix and Wi-Fi. Weekly spending money plus full board, accommodation and car use. The preferred applicant would be female, mature, non-smoker, have good English skills, good communication, is trustworthy, is neat & tidy with past childcare experience and WWCC. She will need a manual driver’s license, travel insurance and be proficient at driving a large 4WD. Both kids love swimming so ability to swim is important. If you’re with us in winter snow skiing skills would be handy. The kids love bike riding and the Au Pair has a pushbike to use. Minimum period of 4 months, but longer preferred. Job details: During the “children days”. - Morning routine: Getting kids ready for school, preparing breaky and school lunches and ride bikes to school on school days. Weekend sport.Trips away. - While kids are at school. Tidy up. Shopping. Prepare for afternoon tea and dinner. clothes washing and cleaning. - Afternoon routine: collect kids from school, take them to “after school activities” or play-dates. Prepare dinner and bath. Bedtime reading. Weekend local activities or trips away. During the “children free days”. - Keep house clean and ready for the next days with the children. - Care for pets. - Opportunity for farm work to sign off 2nd year visa requirements or study or explore.
