Aupair In Toowoomba (live In Position) 3.5 Days Per Week August To December 2020

START DATE: August 2020 to mid December 2020 (4.5 months)
Earn up to $240 cash per week for 3.5 days childcare and house work
Weekends and Mondays off each week

**Our current aupair earns up to $400 per week cash by adding extra work with two other families during her Mon-Fri week during school term**

We are looking for a fun and active big sister to be our next live in aupair up in the mountains in Toowoomba, Queensland.
Prior aupair experience, or formal childcare experience with references will be highly regarded.

What is the role?
Our family has two adventurous little kids.
A 4yr old girl and a 6yr old boy.

Your schedule will entail 3.5 days per week with your host family – the Green’s (firm hours on Tuesday, Wednesday morning, Thursday, Friday)

DETAILS

Position involves spending lots of time with a cheeky little 4yr old and an affectionate and adventurous 6yr old in your primary host family.
During school term, our 6yr old is at school Mon-Fri, and our 4yr old is at kindy 4 days per week Tues-Fri.
You are responsible for school / kindy drop off and pick up Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
You are responsible for school and kindy drop off only on Wednesday mornings.
During school holidays you have the children all day on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and for 2-3 hours on Wednesday morning.
If the children are unwell and cannot go to school on a Tuesday, Thursday or Friday, they stay home with you.
Care one night per week – this includes making / serving dinner, and running the bath and bedtime routine. We will arrange this with you in advance and work in with you.
All children’s laundry (washed, folded and put away).
Prepare dinner for the family one night per week.
$180 paid weekly for these tasks
House Clean (3hr full house clean with beds changed paid at $20 cash per hour to you)
$60 paid weekly if you would like to do this task, if not, we will arrange a professional cleaner to come in each week for the same cost

Full schedule and details of the role will be given upon application, however approx hours are-

School Term
Mon – You are free to get other work this day and we can assist you with finding another family to work for.
Tuesday – 6hrs : AM (6.45am-9am) and PM (2.30pm-5.45pm) care (morning routine, making lunches, after school sports transportation, school / kindy drop off and pick up – children at school 8am-3pm) – you can get other work from 6pm on this night.
Wed – 3hrs : AM (6.45am-9.45am) morning routine, making lunches, school / kindy drop off (their grandmother will pick them up from school in the afternoon) – rest of day and night free to get other work.
Thurs – 6hrs : AM (6.45am-9am) and PM (2.30pm-5.45pm) care (morning routine, making lunches, after school sports transportation, school / kindy drop off and pick up – children at school 8am-3pm) – you can get other work from 6pm on this night.
Fri – 6hrs : AM (6.45am-9am) and PM (2.30pm-5.45pm) care (morning routine, making lunches, after school sports transportation, school / kindy drop off and pick up – children at school 8am-3pm) – you can get other work from 6pm on this night.

School Holidays
Mon – You are free to get other work this day and we can assist you with finding another family to work for.
Tuesday – 9.5hrs : All Day Care from 6.45am-5.45pm – you can get other work from 6pm on this night.
Wed – 2hrs : AM (6.45am-8.45am) care (breakfast and getting dressed for the day before their grandmother arrives to care for them) – rest of day and night free to get other work
Thurs – 9.5hrs : All Day Care from 6.45am-5.45pm – you can get other work from 6pm on this night.
Fri – 9.5hrs : All Day Care from 6.45am-5.45pm – you can get other work from 6pm on this night.

What is the package?
Valued at around $660.00 per week your package includes the following-

Earn up to $240 per week from our family
$180 cash weekly*
$60 per week added for house clean to be completed on Thursday morning*
Private room with ducted air conditioning / heating
Shared bathroom
Meals 7 days per wk (including reasonable food of your choice)
Access to car for pre-arranged private travel (with full comprehensive car insurance)
Utilities (netflix and unlimited internet)
You will have evenings off, and full days / nights off on Saturday, Sunday and Monday each week where you are free to travel.

Candidate must be able to drive, and prior experience driving in Australia is highly regarded.

Trial period of 1 month.
