Mataranka is a small township that is located 4hrs from Darwin and 1hr Katherine. It is also home to the majestic bitter springs thermal pools, located just a short 2.5km from our establishment.

position is for a breakfast cook for our restaurant which can seat up to 180 per setting (we do breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner). Shift would include morning tea session, and prep work for either lunch or dinner. Kitchen hand shift is to help out dinner chef with the fryers and entree's for busy dinner shifts.

We are a family friendly establishment, that has a lot of bus groups, government officers, health workers and contractors that use our accommodation. We have a large swimming pool, which staff can use before or after shift times, camp kitchen and guest laundry. We also to have airconditioned accommodation available for staff, or if you have your own accommodation we have powered sites available. Hourly rate is $27 for breakfast cook shift and $25 for kitchen hand shift.

Our establishment sits on 32 acres of semi tropical green space, with an abundance of wildlife. We are after someone that is willing to work (as this is a breakfast position) but also willing to help the head chef on the more busier nights of the week in the kitchen.
