Job Description
We have several openings for enthusiastic people in our busy outback Workers Camps in and near Cloncurry, Outback Queensland.
The job will include working on one of our remote mine-site camps - Mt Cuthbert and/or Mt Colin.
The work at Mt Cuthbert camp holds a good deal of responsibility and an adventurous attitude to remoteness is required!!
Accommodation and full board included at Mt Cuthbert and Mt Colin
Accommodation and one meal per day included at Cloncurry!
Duties include but are not limited to: Housekeeping, cleaning amenities, Laundry, Grounds- and Maintenance, Food prep and Kitchen-hand. A flexible and can-do attitude is required as you will be working in whatever areas you are needed at all hours of the day.
The work is hard and not very glamorous but you will join a multicultural team of good people who all pull together to keep the camps running.
WHAT WE REQUIRE:
- Experience and good English are essential!
- A drivers license (Manual Driver’s License is a bonus)
- Desirable that you have your own transportation!
- Police check will be part of the application process
VISA
The position will not qualify European Nations for a second year VISA, however it will for South Americans, Asians and American - those that can do Hospitality.
HOURS
Full roster while on remote mine-camp Mt Cuthbert. Casual hours in Cloncurry
We cannot guarantee a minimum or maximum of hours per week, but in general they will be between 30-40 hours per week.
Pay complies with HIGA award and starts @ approximately $26+ per hour casual rate.

It is a remote part of NW Queensland and you have to be able to handle the remoteness. Cloncurry is a friendly place with its own library, country pubs, beautiful night skies and good people. You will be giving yourself a true outback experience!
