An exciting career opportunity exists for a highly motivated & proactive Chef/Cook to join the team at the prestigious Bull n Bell Steakhouse within the Gem Hotel. As a Chef/Cook you will be responsible for completing mise-en-place, serving meals, washing up and cleaning the kitchen after preparation and service. The successful applicant will be confident in their skills, motivated to perform and will need to demonstrate:
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen
- Uncompromising attitude towards high food quality, present and safety
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure calmly and efficiently
- Ability to follow direction
- Excellent planning skills and the ability to think on your fee
- Available to work early mornings, days, nights, weekends and public holidays
