A typical day will see you supporting a diverse range of clients in their homes and/or community. You will be responsible for the delivery of individual and person-centred care that enhances your clients’ independence, social and community participation and helps them achieve their goals in accordance with their care plans. You will support each client maintaining their independence by providing assistance with daily living tasks such as:

Personal care
Domestic Assistance
Medication Monitoring
Social Support
Transport
Respite Care

In addition to having a:

Certificate III in Aged/ Community Care, Disability or Individual Support
And/or proven experience in the field
you will also need or be willing to obtain the following: 

Current Police Clearance Certificate AND Current Working with Children’s Check OR a NDIS Worker Screening Check
First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003) and CPR (HLTAID001)
Mandatory proficiencies (as required by Colbrow Care)
Valid working rights in Australia
Current Driver’s License and reliable transport preferred but not essential.

Love working with Children. Earn $250 for simply obtaining your Paediatric Basic Life Support and working with a child client for a minimum of 8 weeks after course completion*
Complete a minimum of 300 hours in the field by 31 October 2021 and we will reimburse you the cost of the NDIS Screening check which became compulsory on the 1st of July*
