Job Description
Farm Hand - Machinery & Livestock
Full time or part time position available on a mixed farm consisting of cattle, sheep, hay & silage production and some grain located in western Victoria between Ararat and Hamilton in the Grampians region.
A long term opportunity exists and shorter terms would be considered.
Some roles that would be expected:
- sensible operation of various different types of farm machinery and maintenance
- general farm maintenance and improvements
- livestock health treatments
- livestock monitoring and movements
- maintenance & replacement of fencing
There’s also some potential gardening and other domestic duties available for a suitable partner if required.
Accommodation is available and wages are negotiable.

Delamere Pastoral is a family run mixed farming enterprise that consists of beef cattle, sheep, hay & grain.
Situated at the foot of the Grampians with a stunning outlook in southwest Victoria.
Predominately grazing but also grow and process all our own hay and silage and the excess hay is sold locally. Additionally there’s wheat that’s also grown with the intention of harvesting for grain.
