About the Role & Hotel:
Clarion Suites Gateway is a 4 Star Hotel, under Choice Hotels Asia - Pac brand, offering 123 hotel rooms and suites, located in the CBD.

This position offers the appropriate candidate an opportunity to transition to a leadership role as, Assistant Manager (Duty Manager) in due course.

You will be collaborating with all hotel departments so that the hotel guest experience is of the highest standard at all times.

Some of the Key Responsibilities:
You will be presenting the hotel at Front Office and of the outmost importance is to deliver exceptional customer service based on our Customer Service Program with the view of exceeding hotel guest expectations.

You will be working with all the hotel departments so that the guest experience whilst staying at the hotel is memorable.

In addition:

Check in and check out guests
Assist in reservations and gain knowledge based on promotional and all other hotel room rate packages.
Efficient recordkeeping of arrivals & departures
Cashiering duties , ensuring that all matters concerning financial transactions are processed based on hotel guidelines.
As required showcase hotel rooms/suites/inspection
A good understanding of, or gain knowledge of Melbourne’s, tourism & sport venues , entertainment and eateries so that you may satisfy guest enquiries.
To be observant in assisting security focus around the hotel
Maintain public and back of house areas to the specified levels of cleanliness.
You are well presented at all times to receive guests and anticipate their requirements
Experience Requirement:
Previous work experience in a similar role minimum, one year requirement.
Outstanding customer service delivery.
Able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
The flexibility to work on a rotating roster that includes, weekends & public holidays.
