Job Description
A great opportunity exists for a full time, Project/Site Engineer to join our dedicated team at HEH Civil based in Cairns.
About the role
The Project/Site Engineer's responsibility is to work on multi-million-dollar Transport Main Roads projects. This is a permanent role based in Cairns.
What you will need to be considered:
- Proven experience with working on projects similar sized TMR projects (5 years).
- Demonstrated ability in developing and maintaining project plans to ensure projects run on time and in budget.
- Demonstrated ability with providing your engineering experience to the project/s.
- Proven ability to manage sub-contractors on site and ensure the project is complying with safety standards.
- Demonstrated strong communicational skills.
- Proven ability to provide technical advice and implement project plans using your experience and qualifications.
- Previous experience working as a Project Site Engineer on reputable projects.
- Confidence in your abilities to communicate with Senior Management and sub-contractors alike.
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as a part of a team.
- Proven experience with performing cost control, forecasting, and reporting.
- Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering.
