About the Role:
An exciting opportunity for skilled and unskilled knife hands, & labourers exists at our Longford plant. These positions will be ready to commence in 2022 throughout Quarter 3/4.
This is a 5-day operation with around 320 employees.
These are full time positions earning $22.53 per hour as per the Longford Enterprise Agreement 2015. There are 70 positions available.
The role’s responsibilities include but not limited to:
Packing or sorting of meat
Repetitive heavy lifting
Work across different production departments
Ability to work within a team environment
Good communication skills on all levels is essential
Demonstrate integrity and professional attitude to work
Adherence and commitment to availability as per scheduled working hours
Demonstrated ability to adhere to Workplace Health and Safety and Quality Assurance procedures
About you:
Self- driven and motivated
Ability to work in a repetitive and fast paced environment
Reliable and punctual
Must have full working rights
Own reliable transport to and from work
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Previous knife experience desirable but not essential
Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical and physical examinations
