Job Description

Researchers at La Trobe University are seeking volunteer research participants to be involved in a study about the farm work experiences of Working Holiday Makers on farms in Australia. The research is aimed at exploring the employment conditions in Australian horticulture for these visa holders and identifying how these employment conditions can be improved.
You May Qualify if You

• You are or were on a Working Holiday (s417)- or Work and Holiday (s462)-visa AND
• You worked on a farm in regional Australia at any point since January 2021 AND
• Your English skills allow you to understand and answer questions about your working experience

Participation involves
If you decide to take part in the research, you would be asked to:
• Participate in an audio-recorded interview (in person or by phone), lasting approximately 1 hour
• Answer questions about your experience working on a farm.

Your decision to participate in research is voluntary and any information provided is strictly confidential. We are committed to protecting your anonymity and will not pass any personal details on to your employer, the Department of Immigration and Border Control or any other government organisation, your university, or any other person or organisation.



Reimbursement for participation

You will be reimbursed with a $40- Coles voucher for your time and travel associated with the research participation.
