Job Description
The Big Timber Shed is part of the Speedy Bins & Speedy Demolition group of companies. Located on Brisbane’s northside in Kallangur we are proudly family owned and Queensland operated.
The Big Timber Shed sells recycled timber and other build materials sourced from our demolitions.
We proudly reclaim hardwood Timbers, windows, doors, flooring and weatherboard for our construction and renovation clients.
We require yard hands to assist in preparing stock by removing nails/screws etc from timber and other products before stocking in our sales yard.
We operate Tuesday to Friday 8am to 4pm. You need to be reasonably fit and enjoy working mostly outdoors utilising basic hand and power tools. You’ll need steel capped boots and comfortable clothing that protects you from the sun and allows you to move freely.
You’ll work with a fun team, undertake tasks unsupervised, and show initiative in improving the appearance of our Timber yard to clients.
