Nursery Hand

Established in 2007, Plantrite has grown to be one of the leading producer’s quality plants for both revegetation and landscape projects throughout Western Australia. Located in Bullsbrook, every year Plantrite grow millions of native plants for clients who include revegetation contractors, local government and landscape contractors.

We are currently seeking personnel to help with seasonal work loads. This outdoor based role would suit physically fit people and offers a wide variety of work within the nursery team producing & dispatching plants.

Hours of work:
7.00am to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday, 7.00am-12.30pm Friday.
Casual position - $26.73 per hour, adult rate

Responsibilities:
- General nursery duties including all aspects of production
- Operation of machinery/small tractors
- Movement of plant stock
- Picking & dispatch of plant stock

Successful candidates must possess the following:
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently
• Proactive approach to work

The role will require you to be physically fit and the successful candidate must be willing to pass a pre-employment medical. You will require transport, as there is no public transport available to the nursery located in Bullsbrook. Nursery/Horticulture/Landscape/Conversation Land Management experience preferred for these positions but not essential. ChemCert Accreditation or MR Drivers License would also be desirable but not essential. If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you!
