Job Description
We are seeking an experienced live in Event Groom/rider on our sheep farm near Cooma in Southern NSW. Weekend work is required.
The role includes looking after competition horses, feeding, mucking out, grooming, tacking up, travelling to events, plaiting, studs, handling young horses, lunging and riding (depending on experience), packing/unpacking truck, arena maintenance, cleaning tack etc.
The ideal person will have good references, previous grooming/riding experience, trustworthy, reliable and have the ability to work unsupervised. You must have your own car as we are 30kms from the nearest town. We can also sign off on the 2/3yr working holiday visa.
