Humphris Nursery, a successful and leading horticultural wholesale plant nursery located in the outer Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

The roles are located at Woori Yallock / Yellingbo.

There is no public transport in the immediate area, your own transport is essential.
The successful applicant must be able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions and have the ability to work Mon – Fri. from 7.00am – 4.00pm.
Key tasks of this position include:
• Potting plants
• Trimming and pruning plants, spacing and staking plants
• Plant maintenance and weed control
• Despatch packing for customer orders
• General irrigation and construction work


The successful applicants will need to demonstrate a level of exposure to the horticultural industry or similar farming environments.

You must have good communication skills (both verbal and written English) a strong work ethic, be a team player yet have the ability to work independently and show personal initiative and have a willingness to learn.

Woori Yallock (postcode 3139) is registered under the 88 days Seasonal Work 2nd Year Visa program region.
Wages: As per the Nursery Award [MA000033]

Accommodation: we have a two room shipping container house (first in basis) and you can camp on site with a toilet / shower / kitchenette available. Rates to be negotiated.
