General Farm Hand

Weeroona Pastoral Company is seeking a full-time, reliable, and motivated person to join the team on our mixed farming property located in Bribbaree, NSW. This role can also accomodate Casual and is an eligible postcode and work description for regional work signoff/Working Holiday Maker.

Weeroona Pastoral Co. specialises in White Suffolk & Merino Prime Lamb Production and Broadacre Cropping.

We are looking for a livestock person with a willingness to assist the Farm Manager along with the small team in other areas of the property and farm as necessary.

An ideal candidate will possess the following skills and knowledge:

Be an open and effective communicator with both management, contractors, and co-workers
Knowledge of sheep and pastoral improvement practices
Knowledge of modern farm machinery for all aspects of crop production
Knowledge of all aspects of animal husbandry
Have a strong interest in heavy prime lamb AI breeding programs
Duties and expectations include but are not limited to:

General farm maintenance, reporting directly to Farm Manager
Ability to operate modern farm machinery for all aspects of crop production independently
Ability to take initiative in all aspects of farm maintenance and management
Added bonus if the candidate already has an HC license, Chemcert accreditation, and working dogs.


Housing and working vehicle will be provided. Renumeration will be negotiated based on previous skills and experience.
