Spotpress Pty Ltd is family-owned, leading print partner for Australia’s independent publishers including multicultural, regional, suburban and international news publishers responsible for producing hundreds of magazines and catalogues.



Given the needs of the business, we now require a Printing Machinist to join our busy team. The successful candidate will be required to work out of our premises in Marrickville, NSW.

The duties and responsibilities of the position include:
Monitoring machine operations including quality of printing.
Maintaining, adjusting, repairing and cleaning machines.
Preparing plates, blankets and cylinders.
Monitoring and evaluating press operations by computer including assessing errors and providing solutions.
Loading paper into printer feeding mechanism / chute.
Setting and adjusting machine functions.

We offer a competitive base salary of between $55,000 and $70,000.00 per annum excluding superannuation.

The successful candidate will have the following:

AQF Certificate III and at least two (2) years of on-the-job experience; OR

AQF Certificate IV and at least two (2) years post-qualification full-time work experience; OR

Three (3) years, full-time work experience.

The successful candidate must also be passionate, proactive and have an eye for detail as well as an ability to work with minimal supervision.
