Bar Person

Casual, hourly rate
Location: Event dependent but mostly at 7 forest road Orbost

Equipment:
Beer taps system including gas and kegs
E point of sales
Inventory management system Beer 30

Reporting to: Bar Manager

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adhere to all OH&S and quality procedure and protocols.
Setup and pack down of bar, seating, tables/barrels
Maintain presentation and sanitation of bar and seating throughout shift
List low stock and notify bar manager or update directly in Beer30 inventory
management system if trained to do so
Cleaning beer lines and hooking up new kegs
Balancing tills, report on daily takings, manage petty cash
Report guest feedback to bar manager through logbook
Develop a knowledge of beverages on offer and be able to communicate this to
consumers
Contribute to a culture of care and safety; ensuring it becomes a way of life within
the business and maintain a safe and inclusive environment for our guests.
Clean down and presentation of beer garden toilets

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications and licenses:
Victorian Responsible service of alcohol (essential), NSW RSA is also desirable
Safe chemical handling certificate (optional)
Driver license

Flexibility with working hours, including readiness to work after hours and on
weekends at events
Good interpersonal communication and team working skills
Able to multitask and flexible to changing schedules
Good at troubleshooting and being resourceful
Physically active role, so will require bending, stretching, and standing for long
periods
Willingness to travel for events
