Workshop All-rounder - Agricultural & Earthmoving Machinery

DOM Distribution is a dynamic and diverse manufacturer and agricultural and earthmoving machinery equipment distribution business, with trade interests in six continents.

We are currently seeking the services of an all-rounder to join our workshop team, on a permanent or extended temporary basis. You will be responsible for completing various jobs safely and efficiently within our workshop and on our agriculture and earthmoving equipment fleet. No formal mechanical qualification necessary!


Duties include:
Assembling and completing pre-delivery of new agricultural and earthmoving equipment;
Carrying out basic routine servicing;
Inspecting plant and equipment;
Diagnosing minor faults of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components;
Repairing/replacing damaged or faulty parts/components;
Diagnosing and rectifying minor electrical faults (12/24VDC); and
Operating workshop equipment, including mobile lifting equipment.


Skills & Experience:
The ideal candidate will have experience operating/maintaining a variety of agricultural or earthmoving equipment, be highly-motivated and display a willingness to any task. The following are preferred but not essential:

Industry relevant trade (preferred but not essential);
Hydraulics experience (preferred but not essential);
High-Risk Licence LF (Forklift) (preferred but not essential).
