To be successful in this role, you must be comfortable working within a small, close-knit team. Being in a small team means that you will be required to use your initiative and be motivated to work autonomously.


Required skills:

Great communication and people skills with individuals and a large audience of up to 100 people.
An ability to take ownership of an event and co-ordinate all aspects including Budget, Staffing, Client Liaison, Planning, Facilitation, MCíng and Execution.
Reliable, positive, flexible and honest.
Confidence in presenting to small and large groups with an outgoing and enthusiastic personality.
Strong organisational and co-ordination skills.
Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Drivers licence.

Desirable Qualifications:

Senior First Aid Qualification – current.
Sport & Recreation or Events Management qualification and experience.
University degree (Bachelor of Health and Education / Communications / Business).

Remuneration:

Full time salary $60,000-$70,000 PA
PLUS Superannuation
PLUS Company Car - vehicle with all personal fuel paid for by the business to be used as your personal car
PLUS Monthly targets with bonus payments each payable month
PLUS Yearly bonus payments for years of service paid at the end of each year
PLUS phone & laptop


This position encompasses time spent in our head office in an administration / coordination capacity and also working as a Lead Facilitator on events. It is estimated that of the 5 days in a week 2 will be spent in the office (or working from home) and 3 out facilitating events. This is not a Monday – Friday; 9 - 5 job. It is an exciting and varied role hosting events held across all dates, times and locations. You may be facilitating an Amazing Race in Terrigal on Monday, a Trivia Night in the Blue Mountains on Thursday evening and Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting on Friday in Sydney. The successful applicant must be able to accommodate a varied working week based on 38.5 hours per week.
