We are running a Live and Learn program; AND opening up a retail shop. We are looking for enthusiastic people that are eligible for a Working With Childrens Check.
We are particularly looking for someone with very strong fluent English and a good typing ability that is tech-savvy.
You can help us as a casual or part-time volunteer; or we may still have a few beds available in shared rooms if you want to try out as a live-in team member in our combined shopfront and residential dwelling for up to 3 months.
We are offering a range of services at different skill levels, so you can either be fresh out of home/school and start with the basics of learning to:
Live and work to a schedule
Cook and clean to an AirBnB standard
Provide quality customer service, sales skills
Touch type and basic tech-safety skills
Make barista coffee and pickup basic hospitality skills
Improve and encourage social and game-related skills
Recycle, Repurpose, Repair or otherwise freshen up second hand goods for sale
Additional work in the community may also be available for services such as:
Pet Sitting, Child Care, Cleaning, Gardening, Handyman, Painting etc
If you are already skilled in any of the above areas, after your trial you may be paid to teach the same to people new or returning to the work-force, re-skilling or eligible NDIS participants.
Our NDIS services prioritize the importance of family, friends, carers and community in providing meaningful contribution and inclusion opportunities for people with disability.
Pay for experienced parties starts around $30 to $40 or higher depending on performance after the first 3 to 6 months (and prior experience level).
Inexperienced candidates that want to learn start as volunteers. After 3 to 6 months, this may move to a paid position subject to your performance and realistic capabilities starting at Award wages.
nLive promotes the empowerment of our community through upskilling and cross-skilling individual strengths.
Our Live-In offer starts with a trial of up to three weeks. You can have a first stay for 2 nights Monday through to Thursday for free (security deposit and confirmed booked dates are required).
After that, you can enroll in our *participation program with a fee of $100/Week for a shared room (inclusive of Internet and bills except for excessive usage).
You will need to work a 6 hour shift as a volunteer per week over the trial period in addition to fulfilling typical household obligations (mostly the cleaning roster) and some time for learning something every fortnight. Additional hours can be worked. Work in which you are already capable – if profitable, will be paid.
*Our participation program is the focus of this offer.
Terms and conditions apply, and if you do not abide by some of those you may be required to leave the premises immediately without notice. For further details please ask us. Accommodation may be included, but our offer is NOT a rental provider service.
• Competitive salary with salary packaging
• Friendly work environment
• Cross-skilling exposure (see our other ads for hospitality, cleaning and tech learning opportunities)
