We take seafood very seriously! Since opening last year Lobster Shack Tasmania has become the new benchmark for what “ocean to plate” cooking really means. Most of what we serve we catch ourselves or source locally. We also own and operate a live fish and lobster export business from the same waterfront site as our restaurant.

About the Role

This is a fulltime position - 38 hours per week in a very busy seafood café/restaurant. There are excellent career development opportunities as we continue to grow our business and we are prepared to offer extra bonuses for the right person over the high season (Nov/Apr). About you and what you will be doing as part of our team

- You must be energetic, have a positive attitude and be able to work in a team environment
- You need to be detail orientated, self-motivated, able to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
- You will be preparing, cooking and presenting food to the highest standard
- You will need to be passionate about your food and ready to seize the opportunity to display your creativity as new menu
possibilities occur across the fishing seasons
- You will need to be prepared to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings and weekends
- You must have cooking experience, be reliable and able to work without supervision
