Junior Project Manager

We are looking for a Junior Project Manager who possesses a warm, friendly nature with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
Salary $35 Per Hour - Maroubra
The role is based in Sydney (Eastern Suburbs) office.
An exciting opportunity awaits the right candidate looking to work in a collaborative environment with our construction teams. Ideally, you’ll have some exposure to high profile residential and commercial construction work incorporating Fit Out, New Build, Refurb all-in high-end finishes, busy working closely with our Project Manager and General Manager, as well as our director.
About the Role: Junior Project Manager
• Long term role with a BUILDER with years of EXPERIENCE in Sydney, who values his team and committed to the continued growth of employees.
• Responsibility for the overall success of projects, including standards of performance, technical quality, cost, and safety.
• Managing whole lifecycle of project from design brief, tender, overall project programs, execution on site, to final handover.
• Quality control of subcontractors' work against the company's global and local standards.
• Manage project costs, use of internal company purchasing and invoicing systems
• Manage the flow of project information between internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Security of working for an established industry leader who has a strong pipeline of work well into the future.
About You:
• Min. 1-2 years’ experience in Construction Management
• Experience and knowledge of all project management concepts, tools, and techniques.
• Proactive and professional communication style - both written and verbal.
• Excellent stakeholder management (internal and external).
• Strong organisational skills and detail oriented.
