Labourer (gold Coast, Currumbin Area)

Steel Post and Rail are seeking an Experienced Labourer for our Gold Coast Workshop. We are a Steel Fabrication company that specializes in design and construct of outdoor furniture, bus shelters, grandstands & Covered walkways.

We are located in Currumbin, 7 minutes from Coolangatta Airport Queensland Australia & 5 Minutes to the Beach.

Majority of our work will be completed in our factory located in Currumbin but you also will be required to go to site for installations. Driver's License is a requirement for this position.

Must be able to use hand tools, have familiarity with steel work and have a can-do attitude.

The following skills/attributes will be beneficial:

• Ability to read plans, engineering and construction drawings
• Ability to complete SWMS and ensure they are followed
• Effective problem solver - work independently
• Achieve a premium finish
• Communication skills are important and valued

Must have construction white card & working at heights would be idea.

This would be suitable for someone that is wanting to do a minimum of 3 month work placement.
