Vinery Stud is a leading thoroughbred nursery, conveniently located only 10 minutes from Scone, which has many cafes, pubs, sporting clubs, and nearby wineries.
We currently have positions available for self-motivated and positive people to join our dynamic team to work with broodmares, foals, and yearlings.
The successful applicant must:
- have previous horse experience, with preference given to those who have worked in the Thoroughbred industry.
- work well as part of a team.
- be enthusiastic and able to show initiative.
- be punctual and reliable.
Duties include feeding, grooming, treating, exercising, parading horses, assisting equine vets, dentists, chiropractors, etc., and general care of horses as well as maintenance of yards and barns.
Positions are available for immediate start. An attractive remuneration package with the option for accommodation depending on experience, will be provided. This position qualifies you for the 88-day regional work.
