Job Description

I am looking for a groom/stable hand helping me with my eventing horses, client horses of all shapes and sizes + our young stock. Approx 30 horses on site.
Position to commence immediately. Private accomodation available and use of a car.

HORSE EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY****


Jobs include but are not limited to:
- Feeding/rugging/making feeds
- Cleaning stables 
- Saddling/unsaddling horses + bringing in/out horses from paddock
- Using HorseGym treadmill
- Holding horses for vet/farrier/dentist etc
- Packing truck/float for lessons and competitions 
- Gear cleaning and keeping the working area tidy
- Grooming at competitions. These can sometimes be long days. 
Working pupil can bring horse and ride at competitions too. Travel and overnight stays will be involved. 
- Some riding could be involved if you are capable but not a necessity 

The successful applicant must be on time, well presented and a good communicator with an eye for detail. 
Must work well with others but also on your own. 
Must have a minimum of a manual provisional licence, it would be a bonus if you can tow a float and extra bonus if you have a Heavy Rigid truck licence. 

Good working conditions, ability to live in and have shared use of a manual vehicle + bring your own horse.
