Front Of House Staff Required

Job Description

Looking for experienced Front of House staff at a remote Tourist Park located 4 hours south of Darwin. Short distance from the natural thermal pools of Bitter Springs and Elsey National Park.

The Role
This is a remote live on-site role, where you will be responsible for the daily operation of the restaurant in our busy tourist park.

Key Responsibilities include:

Receiving diners to restaurant area.
Explaining where menus are and amenties etc
Taking food orders and drinks orders
Mixing and puring beverages as needed
Transporting food orders from kitchen to tables.
Clearing glassware, silverware and crockery, cleaning of tables.
Restocking fridges as needed.
Handling deliveries in relation to bar and stock levels.
Preparing restaurant for service everyday.
Closing of restaurant if on closing shift.
Maybe required to clean restaurant bathrooms
Help with events
Know and promote menu and drink items
Food prep as needed
Engage with guests to ensure they have a good experience.

About the location.
The Territory Manor Motel and Caravan Park is situated in the township of Mataranka NT. Located 4hrs south of Darwin on the main stuart highway. Guest amenities include swimming pool, camp kitchen, laundry and fully licensed restaurant with a seating capacity of 300. The township is home to two thermal pools, one of the mot photographic thermal pools is located just 2km from our establishment in Elsey National Park.

What are we looking for.
The Territory Manor is well known for its good food and friendly service, and so we are looking for Front of House staff to continue with this standard. In addition to this you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

At least 1 year experience in Front of House.
Responsible service of Alcohol for NT
Good Knowledge and skills in relation to Alcohol products, wines and barista.
Must be 18 years and older.
Clean and tidy presentation
Ability to wear and maintain uniform
Excellent verbal communication, good english and good memory skills.
Great interpersonal and team work skills
Trustworthy.
Ability to remain composed, particularly during stressful or uncomfortable circumstances.
Physically fit.
Available to work mornings, days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Must be able to do rotating rosters.
Willingness to perform additional duties to facilitate the restaurants operations as needed.
Strong attention to detail and respect for process and procedures as prescribed.
Able to perform independent work and be able to proritise tasks.
Able to fully understand and comply with health code and hotels policy in relation to cultural sensitive companies, clients and communties.
