Experienced Horse Person For Specialised Horse Stud Role - To Start Now

Bowness Stud & Watershed Farm near Young, NSW is seeking an experienced horse person who has a strong past with horses and a long-term foundation working with horses. The role is a specialised one - foaling pregnant mares through the night with assistance and looking after the mares and foals post foaling. The job involves working from 9pm to 7am, six days per week, monitoring pregnant mares.

The following skills are required:

Extensive horse experience - must be shown on your resume with references.
Experience administering medication is preferred.
The ability to work alone and record accurate information.
Current drivers licence.

The position involves living on farm in single accommodation, monitoring mares through the night and responding to foaling alarms to deliver foals with assistance. Support staff will be on call to assist when needed. A fantastic opportunity to learn a specialised role.
