Job Description
Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott Racing have stablehand positions available working in one of Australia's largest and most successful racing stables.
Previous experience working with racehorses is not essential, although a strong work ethic and good team morale is essential.
The stable has upto 160 thoroughbreds being trained for races throughout NSW & VIC. We are located in Kensington, 5 mins from Coogee beach or 10 minutes from the city. Great place to work, with other skilled horsemen and international backpackers.
Hours
Monday - Friday: 3:00am - 8:30am and 12:00pm - 2:30pm
Saturday: 3:00am - 8:30am & 11:00am - 1:00pm
Sunday: 4:30am - 8:30am & 11:00am - 1:30pm
Employees work one weekend on, one weekend off with a half day every week.
Applicants on a working holiday visa are welcome for a minimum 3 month stay, please note this work DOES NOT qualify as Regional work.
