2024 Cook/chef Wanted For Our Harvest Season Start In Middle Of January

We have a large table grape farm, packing shed and office located in Red Cliffs, 15 minutes drive from the heart of Mildura, Victoria. We will be starting our busy harvest season and our packing shed will soon be running at full speed. During this time we will have plenty of people travelling to the region from our Head Office, along with customers and clients visiting our farm.

Our office has a fully functioning industrial kitchen, including a professional 8 burner gas stove and two ovens. This area is separate to the lunch room. We're looking for someone to work each day, preparing at least lunch, breakfast and sometimes dinner for approximately 5 - 20 people.

You will be responsible for general chef duties including, but not limited to tracking stock levels, preparing the meals and cleaning the kitchen etc. afterwards.

In addition, we can provide you with second year visa qualifying farm work to add to your 88 days!
Competitive Hourly rates. Overtime rates apply.
Hours of work: Between +- 8-10 Hours a day.
If you want to do extra work, we have packing shed work available as well.

Start: January until April (depending on the length of the season).

For this role you must:
- be a qualified chef or cook
- have at least 2 years professional experience is preferred.
- have a drivers license and vehicle
- be reliable and punctual
- be available to work up to 6 days a week
- Proficient in English
