Job Description
We are a dressage stud/training barn looking for a stable hand for IMMEDIATE START by Monday 16 December. Applicants must have genuine experience working with horses as our horses are large, fit, high level performance horses, not quiet old riding school ponies. Applicants must be confident handling stallions and young horses. Duties include feeding, mucking out stables, tacking up and untacking horses, leading horses to and from day paddocks. You need to be honest and reliable, clean and tidy. Attention to detail and able to follow instructions are important qualities we are looking for. Applicants must also have good spoken English. Hours are 5 days/37.5 hours a week (more hours available if you want to earn/save more $). Paid in accordance with the Miscellaneous Award. Accomodation is available on site. Immediate start.
PLEASE NOTE unfortunately I do not have work available for your non-horsey boyfriend/girlfriend, the position requires people with genuine prior horse experience, and only one position is available at this time.
