Backpacker Guest House

I have just taken over a backpackers/Guest house which is located about 5 minutes drive from the 12 Apostles (2.5 hours from Melbourne via Geelong and Colac). There are about 35 beds. I don't live on site so am looking for a person who like to help in running the backpackers with me. Your duties would include everything from Office operations (bookings etc) to cleaning . You will definitely need a license (for Australia ) to be able to do a weekly shop and to enjoy the sight seeing pleasures of the area. A vehicle will be supplied ( subject to conditions ) . Payment wise we would look at paying a flat rate of say $500 per week plus a room - Note - For the right person I can increase the hours to cover all the marketing and perhaps accounts of my various properties! The property is called "13 Apostle backpackers" which you can google. I am looking for someone or a couple who can start immediately. Please note if you are a couple I only require 1 person for this job but the town of Port Campbell is only 10 kms away and there will be hotels and cafes looking for staff . Also I have additional properties in Victoria and am also looking for a potential maintenance person if you have the skills are willing to travel to my various properties. Also note - Applicants need to stay for at least 1 month and enjoy the quiet of a country town as this stop is very popular for bush walkers etc ! Regards, Terry
