Carer Needed For Elderly Father - $$$ + Visa - Central Qld Cattle Station

We are third generation cattle farmers in the picturesque Arcadia Valley, Central QLD (2hrs north of Roma)

We are looking for an in-home carer for my father. He’s 84, he lives in a large home on the Cattle Station with my mother (76).

The right applicant must be strong, as this job requires helping lift my father to standing from a sitting position, so upper body strength is definitely required.

Job detail:
Showering / bathing
Dressing leg wounds if needed
House keeping (washing sheets, cleaning bathrooms etc)
Laundry

No prior experience required, you just need to be friendly, honest, reliable, strong and flexible with your work hours as you may be required to get up throughout the night to care.

Award Wage + your accommodation is covered in my parents home.
We can full fill visa requirements too.

We have had backpackers on the Cattle Station for over 15 years to help us with the running of the farm. Last year was the first time we engaged a nurse to help with my father and he has declined in health again so we are seeking someone to fill a position of this nature.
