Job Description
Micks Cafe in Karumba is looking for a mature, happy foody looking for life /work adventure in 2024.
We are a small busy cafe servicing the community of Karumba and also the tourists coming through from April to September.
Must love food and cooking and we require experience as a short order cook. We also bake our own simple fresh cakes, scones and slices for the display cabinet so must be confident to do this.
We do breakfast, morning tea, lunches and open in the evenings when it's busy. The position would suit someone who loves to cook and bake and who can work with others. If one of a couple, there is part time work as a storeman or shelf stacker in the Supermarket for your partner.
There is a two-bedroom air-conditioned house or caravan parks close by if you have a van.
Looking for a start in mid-January to settle in.
