Cafe Supervisor - All Rounder

JOB TITLE: Café Supervisor – all rounder
JOB TYPE: Casual 38+ hours per week includes weekends

Position Responsibilities:
Supervise, coordinate, and operate busy café alongside a great team of passionate hospitality staff. Great customer service, delicious food and coffee is at the heart of what Florabel is all about, so if you have the love, drive and experience we would like to hear from you.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
 Strong customer service skills, prompt service to customers, driving the team to be efficient and professional at all times
 Ordering food from suppliers and stock control/rotation
 Advanced cooking skills and food prep preferred
 Strong planning for daily operations and good time management is a must
 Strong work ethics, the ability to work independently/great team player
 Work efficiently under pressure and strong time management
 Monitoring of staff rosters and training new staff to the team
 Coordinate café booking and reservations
 Coordinate opening and closing of the café, till and banking etc
 Ensure a safe work environment
 Handling customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback effectively
 Monitoring costs and sales against budget
 Ensure all requirements in relation to hygiene and cleanliness are adhered to

Qualifications and Experience:
 Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a similar position, as a supervisor
 Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills
 Intermediate computer skills a must
 Current Food Safety Supervisor Certification (highly regarded, if not will be willing to get one)
 Barista experience preferred
 Current NSW RSA (and a thorough understanding of this legislation)
 Competent in all aspects of Food & Beverage service, skills, and procedure
