Cook For A Busy Roadhouse

A busy Roadhouse/Motel located on the Nullarbor in Western Australia requires a cook for 3-6 months of work minimum.

Shifts will be mostly working in the Fuel Station and will involve filling up the Hot Bain Marie, maintaining this and making food fresh to order. Depending on experience and requirements it may also be required you cook evenings in the motel restaurant.

You should expect to make the following: fried food, toasted sandwiches, burgers and main meals such as Steaks, Fish and pasta dishes. This list is not exhaustive.

Applicants must have:

• Previous cooking experience
• A strong work ethic
• The ability to work unsupervised and independently in an extremely fast work environment.
• Good Knowledge of Hygiene and Food Safety

Pay rate is $35.43 per hour. This is a great opportunity to save money.

On average there will be around 4/5 cooking shifts per week. Additional hours will be provided in housekeeping where full training will be provided.

In total you should expect 35-40 hours per week across 5/6 days.

Accommodation and meals are provided free of charge. You will have your own bedroom but may need to share a bathroom and other common areas.
